BUWOG is again Austria’s strongest brand in the residential business

At this year's REAL ESTATE BRAND AWARDS, BUWOG picked up its seventh consecutive brand diamond, winning the award for the strongest brand in the residential development sector.

For the ranking of the most successful real estate brands, the EUROPEAN REAL ESTATE BRAND INSTITUTE examines the top players in the real estate industry throughout Europe. This year in Austria, more than 7,000 industry experts were surveyed about 150 companies. With a measured brand value of 91.84 out of 100 possible index points, BUWOG clearly outpaced all of its competitors and won the category "Strongest Brand Residential Developer" in Austria for the seventh consecutive time. The REAL ESTATE BRAND AWARD was presented this year in a hybrid event hosted by film and TV star Barbara Schöneberger with a gala in Berlin and on livestream.

BUWOG Managing Director Andreas Holler accepted the marketing award on behalf of BUWOG and was delighted with BUWOG's run of success: "With our new construction projects, we have proven for many years how modern housing can enrich our cities. BUWOG reliably stands for competence, high quality and high ecological and social standards – this generates trust and credibility. Many thanks to all of our employees for their joint work on the consistent and continuous development and strengthening of our brand."

The scientific study of the European Real Estate Brand Institute

The REAL ESTATE BRAND AWARDS are presented by the EUROPEAN REAL ESTATE BRAND INSTITUTE, the leading platform for the financial and behavioural evaluation of corporate brands in the European real estate industry. The annual study provides scientifically proven, valid data on brand positioning. Important strategic recommendations for action can be derived on the basis of the results shown. In the biggest scientifically recognised study of brand value, the EUROPEAN REAL ESTATE BRAND INSTITUTE evaluates over 1,000 real estate companies in 45 European markets. The basis for calculation is the REB BRAND POTENTIAL MODEL, a brand equity model that combines empirical, scientific, valid, qualitative and quantitative methods. The REB Institute analysed brands from 12 business areas (architects, asset managers, banks, business campuses, facility managers, real estate lawyers, real estate consultants, real estate agents, investors, project developers, property managers, residential developers) in an online survey of Austrian real estate experts.
