MARINA TOWER: The currently highest residential tower in Vienna is finished

  • Transfer of the 511 apartments to owners starting at the end of January
  • More than 90 percent of the units already placed
  • 41 floors, 140 metres high, 44,850 sqm of floor area
  • Excellent location on the Danube, by the underground and near the entrance to the motorway

One of Vienna’s most sensational residential projects has been completed: MARINA TOWER, with a height of 140 m and 44,850 sqm of floor area, striking architecture (Zechner & Zechner), unparalleled location on the Danube and currently the tallest and perhaps most spectacular residential tower in the federal capital, was completed after a little more than three years of construction. The total of 511 apartments (424 condominiums in the high rise and 87 rental apartments in the neighbouring low rise will be handed over to their future occupants at the end of January 2022.


Demand is excellent for apartments in the tower, which was built as part of a joint venture between BUWOG and its project partner IES Immobilien:  by the time construction was completed, more than 90 percent of all units had already been placed. The remaining units offer a choice of three- to six-room apartments ranging from 68 sqm to 295 sqm with exclusive views of the Danube or the city.
