"RIVUS Vivere" and "Schöneck 13": BUWOG begins constructing 361 apartments

  • Large-scale "RIVUS" project in the 23rd district to be completed with "RIVUS Vivere" and 296 rental apartments as well as 11 commercial units
  • "Schöneck 13" to offer 65 modern condominiums at the edge of Floridsdorf

At the beginning of the year, BUWOG is moving ahead in project development with the start of two new construction projects. "RIVUS Vivere" and "Schöneck 13" will create attractive, contemporary urban housing and also represent the variety of BUWOG's new construction activity: the final component in the "RIVUS" quarter in Liesing is in the process of completion and will feature 296 rental apartments and additional infrastructure, while at the other end of the city, in Floridsdorf, 65 attractive condominiums are being built in a quiet location. "RIVUS Vivere": family-friendly neighbourhood development

By the time it is completed in summer of 2022, the large-scale "RIVUS" project will comprise approximately 800 rental apartments and condominiums. Around 500 units have already been completed and placed. "RIVUS Vivere" will complete the complex with 296 rental apartments and additional infrastructure. Designed by PPAG architects ztgmbh, the apartments in the building are between 54 sqm and 76 sqm in size and have open areas such as balconies, terraces and private gardens. The piazza adjacent to the building and numerous commercial spaces on the ground floor will further enliven the neighbourhood. The future residents of "RIVUS" will find a carefully designed living environment, with particular emphasis on family-friendliness: on the premises there is a kindergarten, a modern all-day elementary school with rooftop sports facilities as well as numerous play and green areas. The immediate proximity to the river Liesing with its cycling and walking paths, the excellent infrastructure in the Atzgersdorf district and the convenient connection to the city centre make for an all-round attractive living environment with a high level of recreational value.                                                                                                                                                         

Schöneck 13: city and countryside around the corner

Bernreiterplatz in Floridsdorf provides the ideal location between a rejuvenating natural environment and the diversity of urban living. By the end of 2021, 58 privately financed condominiums featuring a balcony, loggia, terrace or private garden will be built here, as will seven privately financed maisonettes in the interior courtyard with a terrace and private garden. The high-quality, modern apartments, each with 34 sqm to 109 sqm of floor area, are designed to meet a variety of needs: from the first shared home for young families to a peaceful retirement home. The green interior courtyard serves as an area to relax and meet in the interest of good relations between neighbours. The new residents will delight in the numerous recreational opportunities at the doorstep, such as the European protected area of Bisamberg and the leafy Marchfeld Canal. The location is also compelling due to its versatile infrastructure featuring educational and health facilities, shopping opportunities, cafés, bars and restaurants.
